Sawed entirely by hand from solid sterling silver, this buckle features a dramatic high desert night scene centered around a classic flying saucer hovering above a towering desert butte and mountains. A crescent moon and hand-cut stars illuminate the night sky, while rugged mountains, desert pines, and a longhorn skull complete the unmistakable Southwestern landscape.

The buckle has been hand-fabricated using traditional silversmithing overlay techniques, with carefully engraved details and a dark patina that highlights the depth of the design. The back is fitted with a sturdy sterling silver belt loop and pin and bears my maker's mark along with a big sterling feather.
